Barb Leeson

JEWELLERY

Barb Leeson is a jeweller living in Carleton Place, Ontario. For many years she lived near and beach combed the shores of Lake Erie. Amassing a large collection of beach glass and pebbles. Leaning into her George Brown College “Jewellery Arts” education from the early 90s she started creating jewellery with her finds. Most of which are best describe as organic contemporary. She enjoys the design and fabrication challenges of working with each uniquely shaped piece.

Her beach combing adventures continue with trips back to Lake Erie, Lake Ontario, Cape Breton and Puerto Rico. A long slow walk on a beach is good for the soul.
