Brian's career in glassmaking began as a teen in the city where I grew up, Waterford, Ireland. There, at Waterford Crystal, I completed my apprenticeship and mastered. Years later a business opportunity brought me to Halifax Nova Scotia where I continued with the craft for Nova Scotian Crystal. Recently, I moved to Nova Scotia’s South Shore, the coastal area of Bluerocks, where I have set up my own studio. Here, I have stepped away from crystal production and instead embraced both clear and color glassmaking.
